Rain rain go away
The Met depatment had the last laugh.
It rained and rained in Delhi.Atlast!
Just dare to ask "Should it rain more ?" to any one perplexed,pissed,tired soul sitting in the driver's seat of a dented Maruti 800 on the roads(?) here .
If you come back in full shape ,say Jai Mata Di in AB's baritone voice.
Barely a week after a normal not even a torrential downpour....and what a mess this place has become.
Its the same sight i have seen for the last 26 years.The places have changed...overflowing sewers,signals going phut,craters on roads,more cows than normal on roads,trucks turned turtle,line of bikers along the left end of the road putting their heart soul and life into cranking their engines, not to the forget the buses giving you a magnanimous clay shower.
Who is to blame?
Certainly the criminals aka the road contractors,PWDs,Municipalities,Corporations,Babus ...in short the Governments for its non-governance.
But shouldnt the abetters of crime,US,get atleast a rap on the knuckes for turning a blind eye to the blatant corruption and malfeasance in every govt machinery ?
I dont have the time to fight the war against corruption here.
Nor do the other 104 crores.
Let me wait for the next Saawan so that i can complain again .
Watch this space.
